| 2 years ago i had 40" LED TV linked up to computer and it was awesome - through HD setup, better quality than monit. Although as Rollie posted u need to be sat a bit back from screen. I was lucky as the text was in comparison to the resolution so i could read - a wireless keyboard was essential.
With the Lights off surround sound on it was amazing - i miss those days. Had to swap back after my main TV packed in so DDO TV became main TV.
Would recommend it if u have the space and HD compatable Graphics Card | |

| My pc is in the kids play room so ive replaced monitor with a 32 inch tv so it will double up as tv for kids (and xbox for me). When I researched this most stuff on the web said its not a good idea unless you sit far away from the tv. I think this has been true untill now as tvs are catching up with monitors as long as you use a modern tv wich must be full HD not HD ready and set it to 1920*1080. I tryed on both my tvs, old cheap one hd ready looked crap, new led full hd looks great better than my monitor plus can use to watch all net tv. Make sure tv will connect to pc, most laptops will via hdmi but a tower like mine will need DVI input on tv. Ive not tryed it on any modern games but ddo and web pages look great.
