I'll try and get Skype sorted this week.

Quite fancy the iconics night, but no clue where/what to start, any pointers on which class etc you'd most like?

I've given you access the 'those awesome iconics' section. So have a look.
we have
2 x shadar-kai rogue
1 x purple dragon knight fighter
1 x bladeforged paladin2/sorc14
1 x morninglord cleric
All Iconics are a set race(bladeforged is a warforged). You must take lev 1 as the Iconic class you start with(you don't get a choice), e.g. a Morninglord starts as a lev 1 elf cleric.
Then you have 2 choices,
accept the training offered by elminster/lord of blades when you 1st log on and go straight to lev 15
OR
Do not accept that training, leave the 'starting' room, go find a normal trainer and level up 1 by 1 or become whatever you like.

Just take your pick and make an iconic(they start with a decent set of gear). If you are unsure, I suggest you make 1 that you're interested in, using the straight to lev 15 pre-built path and try it/some out. You only have to do your enhancements yourself. Then either use that character or build 1 to your own taste.

Tips
Bladeforged Paladin are great they also make great sorc's
Shadar-kai are just AWESOME (asassin's) deffo the best Iconic out of them all
Purple Dragon knight are great fighter's/'tank' or i've been told a Bard
Morninglord great healers or i've been told would make a good wizard

We are a use what you find group(no stuff from your bank's) and all of us still have mostly/all the starter gear still on.
